Claim workspace guide

Using your claim workspace

A short guide to finding your claim, coordinating work, and recovering from an interrupted save. Available actions depend on your role and the claim’s state.

Get access

Follow the invitation or claim-access link you received. Open the workspace and sign in if prompted, using the account that was invited. If a workspace and role choice appears, select the one for your claim. If access is missing or a link no longer works, ask your claim coordinator to check your access or provide a replacement link.

Track issues

Choose “Report an issue” when available, then open the issue’s discussion to add updates while it remains open for discussion.

Household users can mark an open issue “Looks resolved”; authorized professionals can choose “Close issue”. Status filters apply to loaded issues. Choose “Load more issues” when available to include more records.

Arrange visits and recover a save conflict

Read and enter appointment times in the claim time zone displayed on the page. Use the availability, proposed-slot, and visit controls offered to your role; check the visit’s displayed status before treating it as confirmed.

If availability changes while you edit, keep this page open and choose “Load latest availability”. Review the newer schedule. “Reapply my draft” restores your earlier edits for review; check them against the latest availability before choosing “Save availability”. Reapplying does not merge changes automatically.

Unsaved availability drafts are kept only on this page. Reloading, leaving the claim, or closing the tab can lose those edits.

Share updates and files

Send shared updates from Messages and review recent updates in Activity. Shared messages are for people authorized on the claim. Internal notes are separate and are not shown to homeowners, household members, or contractor staff.

Before uploading, check the audience shown for the file. Some roles can choose “Shared with household” or “Professionals only”. Wait for “Upload confirmed”, then check the file’s scan status. A file may remain unavailable for download while security scanning is pending.

If transfer or confirmation fails, keep this page open with the file selected and choose “Retry upload”. If upload is confirmed but the list did not refresh, choose “Refresh files”.
